MY Concept (Artist statement)
There's no such thing as REALITY. The world we experience only exists in our own imagination. We take a few elements that capture our attention and with these elements we create our view of our world. As we change, so does this image of the world we created for ourselves. We notice different elements and with that the image changes. This is the basis for my mosaic photographs. I capture elements that attract me. Based on their importance I make them look more or less prominent than others. I create an impression of scenes. The way they appeared in my mind, the way my brain selected and put the elements together.
